SMFA Chairman Dauda Ibrahim donates to Northern Region team in ongoing KGL Under17 Championship

The Sagnarigu Municipal Football Association (SMFA) chairman Ibrahim Dauda Nasara, has supported the Northern Regional Under 17 team in the ongoing KGL Regional Under 17 championship.

Chairman Dauda donated assorted drinks to the team participating in the ongoing competition that is being played in Prampram, Greater Accra Region.

Among the items donated were packs of drinks and biscuits, aimed at supporting the team during their rest of stay and ensuring their hydration and refreshment are met throughout the competition.

The Northern Regional Football Association (NRFA) Executive Committee member in his remarks, thanked the playing body and the technical team for putting up a massive performance in the ongoing competition that catapulted to the team to the semi final.

He expressed his dedication to supporting the development of Juvenile football in the region and Ghana as a whole.

On behalf of the team, lead technical member Mohammed Bashiru (Joobaa) speaking on behalf of the team, expressed his profound gratitude to the CEO of Northern Zaytuna FC for the generous donation.

The Northern Region team topped their Group and qualified to the semi final of the KGL Regional Under 17 Championship after beating Central Region 2-1 on Friday.
