Saudi Arabia Hajj Affairs Authority has awarded Alhaji Farouk Hamza, the Vice Chairman and Director of Finance of the Ghana Hajj Board for his contributions and efforts towards the success of Hajj Operations over the years.
The committee also commended Alhaji Farouk Hamza for his contributions to the success of the Hajj Board in Ghana.
Despite the initial challenges raised by some of the pilgrims, the Hajj Board through the benevolence of Alhaji Farouck Hamza, had been able to airlift about 3069 Ghanaian pilgrims to perform this year Hajj.
Alhaji Hamza also received praises from an Islamic Cleric, Imam Abass Abdul-Karim, for his role towards the airlifting of Hajj pilgrims for this year’s hajj event.
“Congratulations for your successful Tamale operations. I wish you another successful operations in Accra. So far so good.
Pilgrim’s Affairs Officer of Ghana has keep Accra busy for the past 3 days after a successful 4 days operations in Tamale last week. I wish the entire Hajj management members and agents association another successful operation in Accra. So far so good”.
Imam Abass Abdul-Karim made these remarks on his Facebook post.
Meanwhile, the Muslim Group Ghana, under the auspices of Ghana Muslim Excellence Awards also awarded Alhaji Farouk Hamza, as the Best Hajj Member of the year 2019/2020 for his contributions and efforts towards the occurrence of Hajj operations over the years.
The Director of Finance of the Ghana Hajj Board also received the Muslim Heroes award for his generosity towards Muslima in the Northern part of Ghana.
