The Northern Regional Minister, Salifu Saeed has presented assorted items to management of Diamond FM, towards the 3rd edition of the station’s Damba Festival celebration.
The items included 50 cartons of bottled water, 30 cartons of milk, 30 crates of Malta Guinness and an undisclosed amount of money.
Aide to the Minister Abubakari Kadir who presented the items to Diamond FM on behalf of the minister commended the station for its level of professionalism and dedication to serving people within its catchment area.
He indicated that, the Minster is committed to serving the people of the region and therefore will support Diamond FM in their quest to help save lives at the Tamale Teaching Hospital.
As part of activities lined up for the 3rd edition of the Diamond FM DAMBA FESTIVAL, various tribes in Northern Ghana, including Moshies, Dagombas, Frafras, Kasenas, Grushies, Gonjas and Dagaabas, and some major political parties including CPP, NDC, NPP and PNC will clash in a Football Gala competition and other sporting activities tomorrow Saturday in the morning at the Aliu Mahama stadium.
Diamond FM will climaxed the 2019 Damba festival celebration with a blood donation exercise, health screening and registration of some widows and orphans unto the National Health Insurance scheme on Monday 18th November, 2019.
