Sagnarigu NPP inaugurates campaign team; calls for unity ahead of 7th December Elections
The ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Sagnarigu constituency in the Northern Region, has officially launched its campaign team ahead of this year’s elections.
The inauguration ceremony, held on Saturday June 22, 2024, saw a gathering of party faithful and supporters determined to propel the governing party to victory.
The party parliamentary candidate Madam Felicia Tetteh took centre stage during the inauguration. With passion and conviction, she spoke on her aspirations, emphasizing her commitment to bringing forth more development that will benefit the constituents.
Madam Felicia, while highlighting some of her achievements and the party policies, also reminded party members that only unity and continued efforts will lead them to victory come 7th December, 2024.
She said the NDC parliamentary candidate for Sagnarigu constituency will not get up to 1000 votes, if members of the NPP are united and put more effort towards the general elections.
“We can break the 8 and even win the Sagnarigu seat if we are united. We pulled a surprise during the last general elections by winning 44 ballot boxes through our hard work and determination,” she said.
She thus calls on the party members most especially former constituency executives to champion her campaign to enable the party win the seat for the first time.
In his remarks, the Northern Regional Vice Chairman of the NPP Alhaji Sunday, who inaugurated the campaign team encouraged them to remain focused to ensure victory for Madam Felicia Tettey and that of the NPP.
The event was heavily attended by top party faithful including former Sagnarigu constituency executives, who also used the occasion to advise party faithful to stay united and support the party to ‘break the 8’.
The NPP in the Sagnarigu constituency during the last general elections pulled a surprise by winning 44-ballot boxes for the first time in the history of the party in the constituency.
As the campaign season gains momentum, the NPP in the Sagnarigu constituency is poised to make a compelling case to voters, presenting a vision of a Ghana that thrives under responsible and forward-thinking governance.
The inauguration ceremony concluded with optimism and purpose in the air, as supporters vow to come all out to support their candidate.
