RTU beats Wa Sore Nante 5-0 in Division One League season opener
Real Tamale United beat Wa Sore Nante 5-0 in their season opening match of the Access Bank Division One League.
The match which suffered a heavy downpour at the Jinapor stadium in the Savanna Region witness three goals in the first half by Abdul Rashid Abdulai, Jabab Magan and Jonas Wisdom.
Substitute Blabala Bamson and an own goal by Wa Sore Nante FC defender Gilbert Wiafe in the second half put the icing on the cake for the former Premier League side to run away with the three maximum points.
The win means Real Tamale United will occupy the top spot of Zone 1A as they are the only side that recorded the biggest win of Match Day 1 in the Division One League.
They will play Yapei United in their next at the Jinapor Stadium next weekend.
