President’s daughter supports Vitting Senior High Students with learning materials
The president’s daughter, also a founder of the Serenity Community Club (SCC), Farida Mahama, has donated learning materials to students of Vitting Senior High/ Technical in the Northern Region.
The initiative aims to ease the financial burden on parents who struggle to afford these essential educational materials for their children.
The items included an iPad, scientific calculators, exercise books, mathematical sets, packs of pens and pencils, teacups, flags among others.

Farida Mahama, the daughter of the president John Dramani Mahama, has been actively involved in charitable activities, particularly in schools. Her organization, the Serenity Community Club (SCC), has been making significant contributions to educational institutions across the country.

In her brief remarks, the founder of the serenity community club noted that her organization was founded with one goal, which is to give back to society, hence the donation.
“Serenity community club was founded with one goal: which is to give back to the community, and that is exactly what we are doing today.
In his speech, the Northern Regional Minister, Mr Ali Adolf, while commending the president’s daughter, also asked the students to be disciplined and to use modern technology responsibly.

On behalf of the students, the headmaster of the school, Mr. Bukari Ahmed, thanked the founder of Serenity Community Club and her team for the gesture.
