The Northern Regional Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Alhaji Mohammed Baantima Samba has maintained that he is poised to win 15 out of the 18 parliamentary seats in the Northern Region.
According to him, his outfit together with other regional executives have monitored the ongoing voter registration exercise and all indications from the registration exercise in the region points to the NPP’s victory come December 7th
The NPP’s Northern Regional Chairman said that his party is poised to win both the Tamale South and Tamale North parliamentary seats from the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
He said his administration is working closely with other regional and constituency executives to gunner two million votes for NPP in the Northern Region.
Chairman Samba made these remarks after interacting with the various constituency executives at the party’s regional head office where he also presented a cash of GHc 10,000 each to the party’s constituency executives within the Tamale Metropolis and Sagnarigu Municipality.
He also extended the gesture to other constituencies within the Northern Region.
He said the support is part of his effort towards delivering fifteen (15) parliamentary seats to the governing party come December 7th 2020.
He said this is part of his duties as Regional Chairman and will continue to support both regional and constituency executives towards achieving that objective for the NPP in the region.
‘Chairman Do All’ as he is affectionately called, commended both regional and constituency executives for their efforts towards ensuring majority of NPP supporters participate in the ongoing voter registration exercise in the region.
He admonished the executives to continue encouraging people most especially the NPP supporters to come out and register to retain the party in power.
On their part, the Constituency Executives thanked the Chairman for the support given to them and assured him that they will not relent on their efforts but will rather work extra hard to enable him deliver his 15 seats in the Northern Region.
