NPP CRITICIZES FORMER PRESIDENT MAHAMA FOR NOT APPRECIATING LEVEL OF PROGRESS OF ITS 1 VILLAGE 1 DAM PROJECT.

The National communications director of the New Patriotic Party, Lawyer Yaw Buaben Asamoah has criticized Former President John Mahama for his inability to appreciate the progress of work on the one-village-one dam policy of the NPP government.

According to him, owing to the incompetence of Mr. Mahama, he is unable to appreciate development, ongoing across the country. He accused John Mahama of economic mismanagement during his tenure as a Vice President and subsequently as a President.

Speaking to a section of the media in Tamale, Mr. Buaben Asamoh said, 570 dams are expected to be constructed across the three regions of the North out of which 116 are at various stages of completion and would lead to an improvement of livelihoods since farmers would be able to engage in an all year agricultural activities.

The national communications director of the New Patriotic Party also said the NPP government will continue to implement poverty reduction policies that will improve the livelihoods of all citizens.

He urged Ghanaians particularly the youth to take advantage of the numerous employment opportunities created by the government, to better their lives.
