Speaking to Diamond News before his turn of vetting, the Member of Parliament for the Mion Constituency Mohammed Abdul Aziz says he’s working hard to transform Mion constituency into a strong hold for the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Mohammed Aziz is hopeful that the NDC will be raking in more votes from Mion Constituency in both presidential and parliamentary elections like the way the NDC does from both Tamale Metro and Sagnarigu Municipality.

The incumbent MP for Mion Constituency is vying for a second term to lead the party. So far three persons have filed to contest the upcoming parliamentary elections in Mion constituency. They are Hon. Mohammed A. Aziz, Dr. John Kusimi and Dr. Mu-Awia Zakaria.
