Northern Region loses one pilgrim in Makkah

Information reaching Diamondfmonline.com indicates that a Ghanaian female pilgrim from the Northern Region Hajia Anda, is dead.

According to the report, the lady who hailed from Tamale in the Northern Region passed on Saturday July 2, 2022 after observing salat in her hotel.

The deputy public relation officer of the Hajj board Alhaji Haruna Illiasu, who confirmed the incident to Diamondfmonline.com said the pilgrim never felt sick or show any sign of sickness.

 However, he indicated that the relative of the pilgrim told the Hajj Board that “the deceased is a diabetic and hypertension patient. She finished praying and were seeking Allah blessings when the incident occurred”, he narrated.

She is the first Ghanaian contingent for the Hajj 2022 to die.
