NDC launch Campaign, targets 14 Parliamentary seats in Northern Region
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has launched its Northern Regional campaign for the 2024 election with a target of securing 14 parliamentary seats in the region.
Addressing supporters in Yendi over the weekend, the Northern Regional Chairman of the NDC Adolf Ali, charged his constituency chairmen to work hard to enable them win their various constituencies come December 7.
“By 7th December I don’t want any constituency chairman to give me reason why he couldn’t win his constituency, because this year elections is a winnable election. It is either we win or we win, and so I expect every constituency to come out with good results. We must go back and win our seats”, he charged.
He said the current administration led by His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo has crashed the economy hence there is the need for a change.
“The lies of the NPP are sufficiently enough. They have crashed our economy, and they are still lying the more. They told us One District, One Factory, where are the factories? We were having One Dollar to Ghc 4, and they said we were an incompetent government. Today, we have one dollar to Ghc16. They are the worst performance in the history of governance in this country”, he said.
On his part, the Former Minority Honorable Lawyer Haruna Iddrisu, called for unity within the party.
The Tamale South lawmaker emphasized the importance of the members of the party to set aside their differences and work together to enable the party to emerge victorious come December 7th.
