N/R:  Second Edition of Masjid Al Emaan Quran competition held

Masjid Al Emaan a non -profit Islamic organization in the Northern Region has organized its second edition of Mobile Quranic recitation competition for the Muslim children within the Savelugu Municipality of the Northern Region. 

The competition was categorized into four parts A’LAA, JUZ AMMAH, MUJAADILA and MULK.

At the end of the event winners of each category received items including HOLY QURAN, CERTIFICATE, SCHOOL BAGS, EXERCISE BOOKS, RADIO SET, LAMP, PENS AND PENCILS. 

The competition was aimed at nurturing the Muslim youth how to learn the book of Allah as a guide to shaping their lives on earth in order to gain salvation in the hereafter.

Addressing the media at the event, the executive Director of the Masjid Al Emaan, Alhaji Yussif Fuseini revealed that the organization is aimed at extending the gesture into the other parts of the region. 

“This is our second edition. The first edition was done in Nyankpala, and today we have come to Savelugu and the participation was very impressive. We just want to encourage all and sundry to support us. This initiative is going to continue. We are not going to stop. We wish to visit all the district.”

He further explained that, “as we are resetting our country in terms of the economy, we need to reset ourselves, and the best way to reset ourselves is through the Quran. The fundamental of the resetting is to be truthful and punctual on our time”, he stated. 

Alhaji Yussif Fuseini, also indicated that the leadership of Al Emaan is also planning to hold a Regional Quranic competition among the Muslim youth in the Northern Region. 

“It is not going to be only a Quranic competition. We intend to organize a workshop for school kids just to imbibed them to understand that the Quran is the only solution to humanity. That is why we want everybody to know that, if we are able to go back to the Quran, then we can reset our society back to normalcy,” he said.
