N/R: Finance Minister Donates Nissan Navara Pickup to Islamic Education Unit

The Minister of Finance Dr Mohammed Amin Adam Anta, has donated a Nissan NAVARA pickup vehicle to the Northern Regional Directorate of Islamic Education Unit.

The gesture form part of the Minister’s contribution towards the provision of quality education among Arabic schools in the Northern Region, targeted at broadening the scope for monitoring and supervision in all circuits of the region.

The donation was formally presented to the Northern Regional Manager of the Unit Shiekh Issah Alhassan Abubakari. This act of generosity underscores the Finance Minister, also a Member of Parliament (MP) for Karaga constituency commitment to the development of the education sector.

His contributions are seen as vital for the unit logistical support and monitoring efforts.

Education, they say, is the engine of growth for development and nation building, which underpinned the factor for his benevolence.

The Northern Regional Manager of Islamic Education Unit, Shiekh Issah Alhassan Abubakari, receiving the vehicle, thanked the Minister for the gesture, saying that half of the Directorate’s challenges, which was transportation, has been settled.

He said the donation was timely, as the unit had been engulfed with a series of challenges including transportation, and office space among others.

He said the support would go a long way to enhance their monitoring and supervision of the schools under the Islamic Education Unit in the Northern Region.

Sheikh Issah while praying for the Minister, also called on Muslim Politicians and benevolent organizations to support the leadership of the unit to complete their uncompleted office space.
