Minority Leader of Ghana’s Parliament Haruna Iddrisu has acquired a new bus for Division One League side Steadfast FC.
Diamond Sports sources from the Leader of Parliament say the Tamale South Member of Parliament purchased the new bus from proceeds received from the sale of Africa Under 20 Best Player and Black Stars winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku to Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon.
This comes as a relief to the Management of the Northern based club, as they believe the newly purchased bus will ease the transportation challenges the club have encountered over the past years.
Management member of the club Mohammed Masawudu popularly known as “Whereabout” expressed his delight and thanked the bank roller of the club for their new baby.
“I am so happy that we have now gotten a new bus. It has come at the right time”, he stated.
“We can now heave a sigh of relief as the pressure mounted on us over the years by the media, has now been lifted. I want to thank Leader for his effort and support for the club over the last years”, he said.
The 32 seater capacity bus will be used by Steadfast FC as the season progress.
