Masjid Al Emaan holds fifth edition of mobile Qur’anic competition
Masjid Al Emaan has held the fifth edition of the flagship Mobile Qur’anic Competition.
The event which took place last Saturday, 23rd August, 2025 at Sang in the Mion District involved 43 participants. The categories of the competition included A’La, Juz Amma, Mulk and Mujadila.
The mobile Qur’anic competition is an initiative of Masjid Al Emaan which is aimed at harnessing the potentials of young children in their journey of Qur’anic knowledge across towns and districts in Northern Region with the intention of a regional edition in the future.
The first edition took place in Nyankpala and this was followed by further events in Savelugu, Tali and Bimbilla.
The competition awards three winners per category.
The Sang edition saw a massive turn out of people across all walks of life with the chief of the community in full attendance.
Winners took home award items such as Holy Qur’ans, radio sets, school bags, lamps, torch lights, Exercise Books, files, Branded T-shirts, USB devices, customized pens, mathematical sets and certificates.
In his remarks at the end of the competition, administrator of Masjid Al Emaan, Alhaj Yussif Fuseini Amuda thanked the chief of Sang, all the participants and the general public who graced the occasion. He encouraged the public to donate towards the venture to make it more successful in the coming editions.
