Kumbungu MP facilitates brand new bus for Kumbungu SHS

Member of Parliament (MP) for Kumbungu constituency and Deputy Ranking Member of Environment, Science and Technology Committee of Parliament, Alhaji Hamza Adam, as part of his efforts to boost education in his constituency secure a brand-new bus for the Kumbungu Senior High School.

Honorable Hamza Adam through his lobbying skills managed to procure the bus from GETFUND for the school.

This initiative by the MP has widely been applauded by the constituents on social media.

Dr Hamza explained his ultimate priority is to make education attractive in his constituency.

He has so far organize extra classes for the students in the area every year where he pays teachers from his funds to prepare candidates ahead of the WASSCE and BECE.

Aside from the extra classes he has also present fifty (50) LED street lights bulbs to the Kumbungu Senior School authorities to enhance security at the school and its environs.

The Kumbungu legislator as part of his efforts towards uplifting the standard of education in his constituency has within one year in office initiated and completed series of developmental projects under the educational sector. It includes the completion of a 3-unit classroom block at Yuni, the provision of new 6-unit classroom block for pupils of Nwugo, provision of financial support to over 150 needy students, distribution of 400 dual desk to 11 schools, completion of 3-unit classroom block for pupils of Gumo, completion of Six-unit classroom block for pupils of Dalun Model Primary School, among others.
