Commence on the construction of a six-unit classroom block with ancillary facilities and teacher’s
Bungalow for the Tibung Kuli Primary School.
The project, initiated by the MP and funded by Ghana Education Trust Fund GETFund, is expected toÂ
Complete in four months.
Speaking at a sod-cutting ceremony, Prof Hamza Adam, reiterated his commitment towards the provision of infrastructure and materials needed to enhance the standard of education in the district.
He said the project is one of his campaign promises being fulfilled to the people of Tibung Kuli.
He added that education is key to every development; hence, it is important for the community members to own the project.
On his part, the Kumbungu district chief executive, Hon. Yakaubu Kakpagu, while calling on the chiefs to work closely with the contractor, also urged the people of Kumbungu district to exercise patience as the government is putting in more efforts to address their challenges.
The chief of Kuli, on behalf of the community members, expressed profound gratitude to the MP and DCE for the project.
