An aspiring parliamentary candidate for the Mion constituency, Dr. Mu-awia Zakaria has disputed claims by some section of the general public that he went back for the ambulance he donated to the Mion District Health Centre.
It is alleged that Dr.Mu-awia after losing the internal elections in 2015 went back for the ambulance he donated to the Mion District Health Directorate.
This will be the second time Dr.Mu-wawia is contesting to lead the party in the Mion constituency. In 2015, he contested the primaries but lost to current MP Abdul Aziz.
However, Dr. Mu-awia commenting on the issue on Diamond FM with Abdullai Abdul Gafaru on SIASA SAHA, has since denied the assertion and said that the such ambulance is still with the Mion Health Centre and is fully operational.
He said he is not in the political industry to destroy but rather to lobby for development for his people and also alleviate them from poverty. He has therefore, challenge persons claiming he went back for the ambulance to cross check at the Mion Health Centre.
