A renowned Islamic cleric sheikh Amin Asawaba, has admonished natives of Dagbon to support Government in finding lasting solutions to the long standing chieftaincy issue in the area.
According to him the people of Dagbon could only boost of their presence in the country when they see themselves as one.
Addressing Muslim urmmas at the Friday congregational prayers at his Mosque, the leader and founder of Masjidul- Tahleen Mosque, encourage Dagomabas to embrace peace by supporting calls for resolving all chieftaincy issues in the area.
The Islamic cleric also condemned individuals and groups that have always stood in the way of peace makers, especially the Government in resolving the chieftaincy conflict that has plagued the area over a decade.
Sheikh Amin Asawaba, reminded son and daughters of Dagbon that they will someday be answerable to their maker for their deeds.
