Faith Group of Companies commissions new office, hostel facility and boreholes for Dakpema and Nalung fong communities

Faith Group of Companies, over the weekend commissioned a beautiful four story corporate office located at Hausa-Zongo in Tamale at a colorful ceremony in Tamale.

The company also commissioned a plush 140 bed students hostel at the Dungu campus of the University for Development Studies (USD), as well as handed over, two boreholes to serve the water needs of the Dakpema-Fong and Nalung communities in the Tamale metropolis.

The commissioning of the projects and the corporate office, drew traditional authorities, religious leaders from all faiths, representatives of financial institutions and officials from the regulatory bodies- the Foods and Drugs Authority and the Environmental Protection Authority.

The Chief Executive Officer of Faith group of Companies, Elder David Owusu Yentumi in an address during the commissioning event stated that such moment, served as a reminder that every great achievement begins with a vision which must be sustained by discipline, hard work and perseverance.

According to the CEO, Faith Group of Companies started with a vision to provide quality products and reliable services, while creating opportunities for employment and contributing meaningfully to the development of its surroundings.

Nearly after 15 years of operation from a small business start-up then known as faith cold store, now Faith group of companies has transitioned into a modern cold-storage facilities and household consumables with outlets in Tamale, Damongo and Bole in the Savanna region.

Elder David Yentumi acknowledged that the commissioning of the projects and the company’s corporate office were representation of yet, another significant step in the journey of growth and service to customers and communities.

“Today is not merely a ceremony to commission buildings and projects. It is a celebration of vision, hard work, resilience, commitment and faith, it is also an opportunity to acknowledge the contribution of the many individuals and institutions whose support has helped us reach this point,” he remarked.

Elder Yentumi assured that as the company expands, they remained conscious of the responsibility to the people and the communities they serve, saying that the success story must not only be measured by financial growth, but also the positive impact the company makes through employment, customer satisfaction, community development and responsible business practices.

He added that as they strive to grow they would adopt better systems and technology and the provision of quality products and services.

“Today marks a new chapter for faith group of companies, may these projects become symbols of progress, opportunity and service, may these create value for our customers, employees, shareholders and the communities around,” Elder Yentumi concluded.

The Tamale Metropolitan Chief Executive, Alhaji Abu Takoro in a message read for him commended the company for the foresight which had birthed its growth over the years.

The Mayor commended Faith group of companies, especially for not only seeking profits, but in making efforts to complement the area’s development through the provision of potable water to its people and employment creation among others.

He said such experiences should become a rallying point for both industry and academia to tap into and scale-up such experiences for accelerated development of the nation.

Alhaji Takoro also tasked the beneficiaries’ communities of Dakpema and Nalung Fong to endeavor to take good care of the boreholes provided by the company to ensure its longevity.
