Minister for Trade and Industries, John Alan Kyerematen says Ghanaians to exercise patience and rather support the flagship policy directions of government in achieving the desired results.

According to him, the numerous viable policies of the government would in the long term create jobs and provide the needed economic transformation desired by Ghanaians.

Sighting China and other developed economies, the Trades, Minister said the Nana Akuffo Addo government is implementing policies that will transform every sector of the Ghanaian economy in the long term.

Speaking at the just ended fourth National Policy Summit in Tamale, Alan Kyerematen stated that, the NPP government is focused on creating the enabling environment for the private sector to employ the teeming Ghanaian youth since the public sector is choked.

Giving a status report on the on village on dam initiative by the government, Mr. Kyeremanteng said over 700 business proposals have been received and are at various stages of consideration.

He however dismissed the impression that government will build factories across the country saying government’s role is to offer incentive to support the private sector to establish the factories under the 1D1F initiative.

The Minister said 15 companies across the country are operational and getting the needed support from the government.
