Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, Madam Jean Mensah and her two deputies have donated an undisclosed amount of cash towards the National Cathedral Project.
Their donation is part of efforts to build a befitting National Cathedral for Ghana.
In an appreciation message, the National Cathedral Secretariat announced that Ladies of Substance International Network has also donated GHC12,000, Power House Foundation Ministry – GHC3,000 and GHC500 came from Mr. & Mrs. Hoffman Nettey.
Mr Allotey Jacobs – GHC1,000, and Christ Frontiers Mission International- GHC100.
Some prominent Ghanaians who have already donated towards the National Cathedral Project include the Vice President Alhaji Dr. Mohamudu Bawumia and the National Chief Imam of Ghana Dr. Sheikh Osman Nuhu Shaributu.
The National Chief Imam Dr. Sheikh Osman Nuhu Shaributu in August 2021 made a personal contribution of GHC 50,000 towards the Project while the Vice President at the Adabraka Official Town branch of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana announced his contribution and urged the public to also contribute.
“We appreciate the donations so far and would like to appeal to all Ghanaians both home and abroad to support this Project” the National Cathedral Secretariat ended in their statement.
