DOL: Yendi Gbewaa FC battles for a draw in Tamale

Yendi Gbewaa FC came back strongly in the second half to pick a vital point after conceding two first half goals from Nsoatreman FC at the Alhaji Aliu Mahama Sports stadium on Saturday.

Nsoatreman FC took the lead in the 33rd minute when their left back Ali Alhassan scores from a close range to put the visitors in the lead.

Skipper Richmond Oppong fired a 25 yard screamer to double the visitors lead in the 39th minute in what many thought was all over for the home side.

But the home side had different ideas effecting two quick tactical changes in the first half by introducing Muniru Yussif and Ibrahim Musah as substitutes to Inusah Mohammed and Sulemana Mubarik respectively.

It was not so long when the tactical changes yielded results as Adam Sakibu pulled one back for Gbewaa FC after beating the offside trap in the 58th minute.

Substitute Muniru Yussif headed slightly from Abdulai Labandoo free kick to equalise for the home side to level for the home side.

Yendi Gbewaa FC is hoping to improve on their next game when they travel to Kintampo to face Kintampo FC.
