About 15 Referees and Assistant Referees from the Northern Region have been approved by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to officiate in the 2020/2021 National Division One League.
The list comprise of 7 (seven) Centre Referees and 8 (eight) Assistant Referees.
The Ghana Football Association announced on Friday the list of referees for the 2020/2021 National Division One League season following medical and fitness test.
The list is for 80 Division One League referees and 80 Division One League Assistant referees with another 20 (Referees and Assistant Referees) on the buffer or support list. The referees from Northern Region include;

- Siraj Yahya – Tamale
- Iddrisu Umar – Damango
- Iddrisu Mustapha – Tamale
- Joseph Kwaku Addae- Tamale
- Alhassan Abdul Rashid – Tamale
- Sulemana Latif – Tamale
- Nashiru Abdul Latif – Tamale (Buffer)
ASSISTANT REFEREES
- George Owusu Amponsah – Tamale
- Minkaal – Il Fauzan – Tamale
- Mohammed Alhassan – Tamale
- Mohammed Mohammed – Yendi
- Seidu Abdulai – Buipe
- Yakubu Abdul Rahman – Tamale
- Nbangnan N. Festus – Tamale
- Yakubu Sayibu – Tamale (Buffer)
The selected referees will take charge of matches in the National Division One League for the upcoming season.
