Deputy Ministerial Nominee for Transport promises to help reduce carnage on the roads if given the nod

The Deputy Minister designate for Transport, Alhaji Al-hassan Tampuli, has promised to help bring sanity back onto the roads in the country when given the nod.

According to him, the numbers of road casualties recorded in the country in the last few years are very alarming, hence needed collective efforts from all stakeholders to minimizing the situation.

The deputy ministerial nominee said his priority regarding ending casualties on the roads would be to collaborate with the national road safety commission, commercial transport unions and the police MTTD to ensure passengers safety on the roads in the country.

The Gushegu law maker, Al-Hassan Tampuli while appearing before parliament’s appointment committee, also assured them of his readiness to work closely with traditional authorities and other opinion leaders to ensure accident-free roads
