Conquer North for Alan a pro NPP youth group in the Northern Region, has congratulated the former Trade and Industries Minister, Mr. Alan Kwadwo Kyeremateng, on his decision to step down from the ministerial position.
The group in a press statement copied to diamondfmonline.com, stated, the decision was in the right direction since it will enable him to focus on his campaign activities.
“We find this feat worthy of celebrating though we felt it was long overdue —we in this fraternity envisioned an early resignation to allow for an absolute focus and commitment towards the greater goal of breaking the eight for our beloved party; nonetheless, we are not whining nor whinging, we are here now, Sir.”
The group thus assured the immediate past Trade and Industries Minister of their readiness to support his campaign both outside and inside the region.
“We are by this communiqué opening our doors to all activities, local or national which will seek to engender your bid for the primacy of our party”, they assure.”
Mr. Alan Kwadwo Kyeremateng tendered in his resignation letter to the President on Thursday.
Details on why he took the decision are sketchy, but political analysts believe it was to help him focus on his presidential ambition.
Meanwhile the President Nana Akuffo Addo has since thanked him for his services to the nation and wished him well in all his endeavors.

We in the fraternity of Conquer North For Alan, wish to acknowledge with a rather gladdened heart your decision to resign from the office of Trade Ministry.
