Information reaching Diamondfmonline.com has indicated that, the Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the Tamale Teaching Hospital (TTH) Dr. Kareem Mumuni has resigned.
A statement from the Public Relations Unit department of the hospital copied to diamondfmonline.com stated “The Tamale Teaching Hospital (TTH) announces the resignation of Dr. Kareem Mumuni as the Acting CEO of the Hospital”.
“The Governing Board has tasked Dr. Adam Atiku, the Director of Medical Affairs to take over as the Acting Chief Executive Officer while the Governing Board takes the necessary steps to find a permanent replacement”, the statement added.
Meanwhile, the Management of the Hospital have assured the public of informing them of any further development.
Dr. Kareem Mumuni who was at the University of Ghana was appointed as Acting Chief Executive Officer of the facility in 2020.
