Calls intensify for Assin Central MP, Kennedy Agyepong to be invited for questioning in relation to Ahmed Sualah’s killing

Executive Director of Alliance for Social Equity and Public Accountability ASEPA, Mensah Thompson has called for the immediate arrest of the Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong as a lead suspect in the gruesome murder of a member of the Anas Aremeyaw’s Tiger Eye PI team.

According to him, the Assin Central MP exposed the late Tiger Eye PI journalist to danger when he splashed the late Ahmed’s photograph on his T.V station and incited to public to beat him while he Kennedy Agyapong takes responsibility for any damages.

It will be recalled that, in the heat of Anas expose’ on football administration in Ghana titled #number 12, the Assin Central MP released a video titled: “who watches the watchman” which was to counter what he termed corrupt practices of Anas and his team.

Speaking to the issue of the journalist’s killing on the Diamond Power Drive show, the ASEPA executive director opined that, the murder of Ahmed is a direct consequence of the crude and reckless act of the Assin Central Member of Parliament.

Mr. Thompson also called on the ethics committee of Parliament to urgently crack the whip on the Kennedy Agyepong who on several occasions had brought the name of the legislature into disrepute and public ridicule.

Meanwhile, a member of the Anas Tiger Eye PI team Latif has said the murder of their colleague will not intimidate and stop the Tiger Eye PI team from carrying out further thorough investigations into corruption life in Ghana.

He revealed that, the Tiger Eye PI has become an institution with lot of collaborators and not even the death of their leader Anas Aremeyaw Anas can stop the team from unveiling corrupt practices.
