Mr. Adam Dauda a business man of the Sagnarigu Municipality in the Northern Region has joined Sagnarigu NDC parliamentary primaries race as he officially filed his nomination forms to contest the National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary primaries elections in the Sagnarigu constituency.
Accompanied by a mammoth crowd, the first timer parliamentary aspirant handed over his nomination forms to the Sagnarigu constituency office of the NDC.
Over 200 branch and ward executives witnessed the submission of his nomination forms at the party constituency office on Monday March 20, 2023.
Addressing the media after submitting his nomination forms, Mr. Adam Dauda stated that, empowering the constituents will be his main priority, and that includes creating an economic avenue for the people of the Sagnarigu constituency
“I want to first of all thank the Almighty Allah for permitting us life and also granting us health to see this important day. This is a clear demonstration of my intent to participate in the 13th May, 2023 Primaries of the Sagnarigu constituency. Today, I want to assure each and every one of you that we are coming with the leadership that is reassuring, that will uplift the people of this particular constituency. This is the time to vote for a power that belongs to you. Give it to somebody who can actually enroll you on the main economic stream”, he said.
Mr. Adam Dauda, is an Economic Policy Scholar and a start-up consultant. Dauda Adam has experience spanning a period of 8 years in the corporate and industrial space. He has a first degree in Economics from the University of Ghana, and a Masters Degree in Economics Policy Management also from the University of Ghana. Currently, he is the Chief Executive Officer of Kookali Company Limited.
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) on February 22, 2023, opened nominations for aspirants interested in contesting the parliamentary and the flagbearership positions.
The party is expected to hold its flagbearer and parliamentary primaries on Saturday May 13, 2023.
According to the timeline released by the party at its functional national executives committee (NEC) meeting, submission and filing of nomination forms would take place from Monday March 20, 2023, to Wednesday March 22, 2023.
