The Board Chairman, Ghana Integrated Iron and Steel Development Corporation (GIISDEC) Farouk Aliu Mahama, has charged management and staff of the company to be diligent at work and give off their best “so that we can, together, uplift the nascent corporation”.
According to him, “that remains the only sure way the corporation will meet the President’s objectives”.
Alhaji Farouk Aliu Mahama was speaking at the Head Office of the Ghana Integrated Iron and Steel Development Corporation (GIISDEC) in Accra when he paid a working visit to the office.
He indicated that, he was delegated to the corporation by the president to work with the management to attain the objective of making Ghana a hub of iron and steel industry and for the country to attain the fullest of its benefits and therefore charge staff to give off their best.
The Ghana Integrated Iron and Steel Development Corporation (GIISDEC) Board Chairman was joined by the Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Hon. Abu Jinapor.
The visit was to enable the Chairman who is also the MP for Yendi Constituency to familiarize and engage management and staff of the GIISDEC head office.
