Apologize to the Supreme Court, SM to John Mahama.

Director of Programs and Operations at the office of the Vice President, Abdul Salam Mustapha has asked the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and its 2020 flagbearer John Dramani Mahama to apologize to the Supreme Court for the insults and unjustified hatred.

His comments follows’ the admission by Mr. Mahama during his tour in Upper East that Elections are won or lost at the polling stations, collation levels and doing everything right, and not at the Supreme Court.

The NDC 2020 flagbearer addressing party executives and supporters in Bolgatanga said the NDC has learnt its lessons following the controversial loss in the 2020 elections.

And thus, assured party supporters that the NDC, in the 2024 elections, would put in place all measures to win the elections on the ground and avoid going to the Supreme Court for redress.

However, the NPP National Youth Organizer hopeful, Salam Mustapha, expressing his disgust about the former President’s comments on social media said, the NDC went to the Supreme Court just because John Mahama didn’t want to take the blame for their defeat.

“Whilst launching his 2024 campaign admitted that the NDC went to the court purposefully to defray tension amongst its rank and file. In essence, to buy time”.

“Good admission. But sadly, they unleashed their gullible following to attack the justices of the Supreme Court for apparently no reason and cause. That’s a horrible thing to do. The hatred towards the Chief Justice, Anim Yeboah JSC because of this needless petition is astounding by the NDC”, he added.

He has therefore demanded that the NDC should apologize to the Supreme Court for the insults and unjustified hatred they cause the Supreme Court.
