Anta Next Generation Foundation equips Sabare CHPS compound to serve pregnant women

Anta Next Generation Foundation in the Northern Region on Friday October 31, 2025, presented medical equipment to the Sabare Community Health Planning Services (CHPS) compound in the Zabzugu Constituency.

The items comprised Delivery beds, patient beds, privacy screen, Drip stands, weighing scale, Baby weighing scale, Disposable gloves, Glucometers, Glucometer strips, BP machines, Bleach, Liquid soap, Sprit, Dustbins, Veronica buckets, Mop Brooms, Mop buckets, Jumbo tissue, Washing bowls, Batteries, Antiseptic, Sanitizers, Bandages, Puls oximeter, sphygmomanometer and stethoscope, Nose masks, Plasters, Cotton, Pen torch and Thermometers.

The donation forms part of the foundation’s commitment to support healthcare facilities and improve the health status of the communities within the Northern Region and beyond.

In his remarks the Executive Director of the foundation Alhaji Mohammed Shani, noted that despite the important role of the Sabare CHPS, the facility for the past year faced a series of challenges, hence the support.]

“The beds we are donating today will provide dignity and comfort to patients who need rest and medical care. No longer will patients have to tie on makeshift arrangements or share limited bed space. Each bed represents our commitment to ensuring that even in our remote communities’ sick persons can receive care with dignity”, he said.

“This donation is more than a charitable gesture, it is an investment in the future of Northern Ghana”, he added.  

Alhaji Mohammed Shani whilst thanking the foundation and the donor partners most especially, the MP for Karaga constituency Dr Mohammed Amin Anta, also urged the healthcare workers to utilize the donated items to the benefit of the community members.

The Zabzugu District Health Director Ms Victoria Teni Aboyella, receiving the items on behalf of the management of Sabare CHPS expressed their profound gratitude to the leadership of the Anta Next Generation Foundation.

The District Health Director noted that the supplies will go a long way to improve the quality of healthcare they offer to the people in the community.
