Alhaji Mohammed Aziz appointed Deputy Registrar at TaTU.

The Governing Council of the Tamale Technical University has appointed Alhaji Mohammed Aziz as a Deputy Registrar of the University, in charge of Academic Affairs.

The Governing Council took the decision at its 11th regular meeting held on 25th of March 2021.

A statement from the Public Affairs Directorate of the University said the Council “appointed Alhaji Mohammed Aziz as Deputy Registrar of the University by promotion with effect from 17th May, 2020”.

Until his appointment, Alhaji Mohammed Aziz was a Senior Assistant Registrar in charge of Academic Affairs.

He was appointed into the then Tamale Polytechnic in 2009 as an assistant Registrar in Charge of Public Relations.

“By dint of hard work, he rose to the rank of a Senior Assistant Registrar in 2012 and was reassigned as head of the Human Resource office of the University” and was in 2016 transfered back to the Public Relations Division as the Registrar.

Alhaji Mohammed Aziz holds a Master of Arts Degree in Brands and Communication Management and another Master of Arts Degree in Human Rights.

He also has a Professional Advanced qualification in Public Relations and a Professional Certificate in Broadcast Journalism.

Alhaji Mohammed Aziz has several publications to his credit in reputable International Journals.

Some of his articles are “What Inspires Us to Work; A Case of Motivation for Employees of Commercial FM Radio Stations in Tamale, Ghana”, “Financial Management for CBOs and Small NGOs”; Employee Commitment and Performance of Technical Universities in Ghana”.
