The body of outspoken National Democratic Congress (NDC) Communicator A.U Faruck, has been laid to rest according to the Islamic tradition.
A.U Farouk was among the several supporters of NDC in the Norther Region who traveled to Accra for the NDC 10th national delegates conference.
The popular serial caller to most radio and television political shows across the country was reported dead on Friday December 16, 2022, after collapsing at the University of Ghana where most delegates were lodging for the Congress.
The body was flown back to Tamale for Janaaza prayers and burial.
Thousands of residents including supporters of both political divide within the Greater Tamale trooped to the cemetery to pay their last respect to the deceased.
Meanwhile, about 9,000 delegates from the various constituencies are expected to partake in the voting process on Saturday December 17, 2022.
