100 market women in Tamale receive financial support from Evame Motors

Evame Motors Ghana, the sole importer of Haojue motorcycles has on Saturday September 24, 2022, disbursed over Gh¢20,000 to hundred (100) market women within the greater Tamale.

The management of the Evame Motors, presented the money to the beneficiaries after selecting them from thousand applicants.

Each beneficiary received Gh¢200.00 as a seed capital from the company to help them start up small scale businesses on their own and earn high rate of returns.

Addressing the ceremony to present the money, the marketing manager of the Evame Motors Ghana, Adai Asseck Kwasi, who led the disbursement of the money, appealed to the beneficiaries to use the money properly to ensure that it benefits their lives and that of their families.

According to him, women remain pivotal to the socio-economic development of households, communities, and the nation at large, and described the initiative as giving back to the society.

He explained further that, “we did a survey in Tamale and we have realized that some of our mothers and sisters who are doing small-scale businesses, really need support financially to boost their business activities hence, the decision to support them”.

Mr Adai Asseck Kwasi in an interview with diamondfmonline.com indicated that, the company had put measures in place to extend the initiative to other parts of the country most especially their catchment areas.

“We are not stopping here. We planned to extend it to all the sixteen regions in the country”, he said.

“This is not the only intervention we intend doing. We have a lot of activities including supporting school going children which we will soon roll out “, he added.

N’yab Choggu Naa Alhassan Mahamadu

On his part, the Chief of Choggu N’yab Naa Alhassan Mahamadu, thanked the management of Evame Motors Ghana for coming up with such a policy to support women within the greater Tamale and prayed for God’s guidance for them in all their activities.

Some of the beneficiaries after receiving the support, also expressed gratitude to management of Evame Motors for coming to their aid. They describe the gesture as timely since majority of them had no seed capitals to start their own businesses.

Meanwhile, the management of the Evame Motors Ghana also used the occasion to present a motor cycle to Yussif Iddrisu a physical challenge person of the Tamale Metropolis to aid his movement.
