Your nomination is a good omen to NDC and Ghana, NDC Royal Ladies to Prof Naana

The Royal ladies of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have described the nomination of Prof Naana Opoku Agyeman as a good omen and an indication of the forward match of the NDC to victory come December.

They said her nomination is also a victory for all women and all persons who have a shared interest in women empowerment and support women participation in governance.

It is not surprising therefore that bigwigs in our main political opponent, the NPP, have all of a sudden started having butterflies in their bellies”.

Secretary of the NDC Royal Ladies John Mahama Charity at a press conference in Tamale said there is no argument whatsoever that the NDC as a party strongly believes in the capabilities of Ghanaian women and the principles of inclusive governance at all levels.

She urged Prof Naana Opoku Agyeman to be focused on her mission and turn deaf ears to all insults and attempts to divert her attention from using her experience and competence to support former President John Mahama and the NDC to win the general elections in December.

The NDC Royal ladies also commended former President John Dramani Mahama for choosing a woman to partner him for the 2020 general elections.

Indeed, you have made women in Ghana proud. The women in Ghana will reciprocate this gesture by giving you a resounding victory come December 2020”, the group added.

The Royal ladies also reaffirmed their commitment to mobilizing women, both young and old and all other persons eligible to vote to part take in the electoral processes that will bring the NDC back to power after the December elections.
