You will Go, if “Superior” is Impeached- Angry resident’s of Salamba threaten Assembly Man

Angry residents of Salamba in the Tamale metropolis have issued a three day ultimatum to Assemblyman for the area, Abdallah Mohammed, to backtrack from partaking in the process to impeach mayor of Tamale by his colleagues.

According to the angry residents, no consultations went between the community members and the Assemblyman, involvement was needles and unwarranted.

31 members of the Tamale metro assembly, petitioned president Nana Akkufo Addo, to revoke the appointment of Iddrisu Musah Superior, whom they claimed, awarded contracts under dubious circumstances to party cronies and friends, self appointed his own assistants and paying them with Assembly’s meager resources and his unruly behavior to honorable members among other allegations.

However at a media briefing to press home their demand, the residents noted that the chief executive during his of the community, promised to improved developmental project in the area, and his impeachment will deny them that opportunity.

They vowed never to allow the Assembly member of the area deny them development based on his parochial interest and threatened to vote him out, should he fail to heed to their request.

The concerned residents of Salamba, further assured the mayor of Tamale, Musah Superior of their continuing support to him, in his quest to transform the city.
