The Deputy Northern Regional Coordinator of the Youth employment agency YEA, Mohammed Haruna has disputed claims of taking five Ghana cedis from former YEA beneficiaries.
Some section of former YEA recruits mostly from the community police had alleged that management of the YEA instructed them to pay five Ghana cedis for accoutrements belonging to the program.
However reacting to the claims, Mohammed Haruna, who doubles as deputy National communication director of the NPP said management of YEA of the northern region never instructed officers of the YEA to take five Ghana cedes from the former beneficiaries of YEA.
Rather he said they only instructed former beneficiaries to fill online forms and submit them to the project assistance officers across the region.
The Deputy Regional Director of YEA also revealed that management of YEA had concluded details of former beneficiaries, to enable them receive their provident fund monies.
