“We are going to package all the six (6) seats for President Nana Addo”— North East NPP Regional Chairman

The North East Regional Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Alhaji Fuseini Nurideen, has stated that the party is poised to win all the six parliamentary seats in the region.

He said his administration will not relent on its efforts but will rather work extra hard to win all the six  seats and ensure 100% votes for NPP come December 7 this year.

Chairman Nuru made this known to Diamondfmonline.com at his private residence in Tamale for his New Year message to the people of North East region.

According to him, the NPP government, led by Nana Addo has done so much for the people of North East Region, and that has made the party more attractive in the area, adding the people of North East will show the NPP their appreciation in the December general elections.

He said through the NPP developmental projects in the region, the party had a majority of assembly members at the just ended District Assembly elections.

“There are a lot of developmental projects  going on in my region. So, what we intend helping the  President is, North East is a full package. We are going to package all the six seats for president, and Insha’Allah the NPP is going to get 100% votes at in the North East region. The reason is that, we never had assembly elections with the NPP being majority at the Assembly. Just the  last year assembly elections NPP had majority of assembly members and that tells you that, the people of North East are very happy and their confidence with the President and his Vice who is our brother. What we are praying for, is long life for these two gentlemen”, he stated.

Chairman Nuru also indicated that, his outfit together with other North East regional executives of NPP has put in the necessary measures in place to achieve this agenda.

Currently, the NPP has 2 seats while the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) have 4 seats in the North East region.

The constituency include, Walewale, Yagba-Kubore,Yonyoo, Cheriponi and Nalerigu/Gambaga constituencies.

The North East regional chairman of NPP, speaking however  urged the youth of the party to remain resolute and work diligently towards retaining the NPP government in power come December  7 this year.

He said against all odds and machinations from the NDC, the youth must hold the foot and showcase the good deeds of the NPP government saying “Nana Addo/ Bawummiya administration has done a lot for Ghanaians. The implementation of free SHS has brought relief to parents. The introduction of Planting for Food and Jobs and other social interventions introduced by the NPP government has impacted so many lives in the country”, he noted.

He encouraged the youth to remain calm and bury their differences and assist the NPP government to deliver on its promises for the betterment of the people of Ghana.
Chairman Nuru also urged the youth to take full advantage of government’s flagship programmes to better their lives.

“I want my party youth to stop talking’ and complaining that they haven’t received anything since their party assumed office. Just exercise patience and pray to God for your turn. Everybody will have his or her own. It’s just a matter of time. Nana Addo/Bawmmiya government is showing us how to fish to be dependable in life and so our youth need to adapt the style to better their future”, he adviced.

The North East regional chairman also commended the over lord of Mamprugu traditional area, Naa Buhagu Abdulai Shariga for his continue support towards development of the North East Region.
