UDS manhandled Comoros to record their second victory in the ongoing African Universities Olympics Games in Egypt.

University for Development Studies (UDS) recorded their second victory in the ongoing Africa Universities Olympics Games when they beat Comoros by 3-0 on Wednesday at the Al-Azhar University in Cairo Egypt.

Taufiq Alhassan Alolo, Abdul Majeed Abdul Muiz and Alhassan Abdul Wadud were on the scoring sheet for UDS when they took on the East African country University.

Head of Sports Deoartment and Technical Direcfor of the UDS Football team Ibrahim Tanko (Off the Road) as his tactics enabled his team dominate play throughout the entire game.

This is the second victory the UDS team recorded as they defeated Nigeria in their opening match on Tuesday.

The competition is being organized by the Association of African Universities in partnership with All-Africa Students’ Union and Al-Azhar University in Cairo, Egypt.

The Olympics seeks to create a common platform for participating universities across the five geopolitical regions of Africa to harness and develop young talents for the continent.

It will also help foster a stronger partnership, collaboration among student athletes participating and enhance intercultural dialogue among all participants.

This initiative is one of the key strategies mapped out to achieve the African Union’s fifty-year “Agenda 2063” for the African Continent.
