The NDC has proven record on delivering on its promises says Prof. Naana

The Running mate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) election 2020 ticket, Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang has said all the promises being made by her party, if elected can be achieved.

According to her, former President John Dramani Mahama is a man of his words and will not make promises he cannot fulfill when voted into office.

Addressing Chiefs, women groups, and supporters of the NDC at Tampion in the Nanton Constituency as part of her three day tour of the Northern Region, Prof Naana Opoku Agyemang said the 2020 election will be about comparison of records and the NDC has superior records across the country. 

The NDC running mate however indicated that, the country cannot achieve any meaningful development even if the NDC is voted into power without peace, she therefore urged the locals never to resort to violence as they go about the campaigns activities.

The NDC running mate also indicated that, the next NDC government will place premium on the needs of children, women, youth and the elderly.

She said all categories of persons have roles to play in the next NDC government in order for development to be holistically achieved.

Prof Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang as part of her three day tour of the region which begun on Monday, paid courtesy calls on the, Yoo Naa Abdulai Yakubu at his Savelugu palace, where she spoke about the policies of the next NDC government.

She has also toured the Nanton Constituency, Karaga, Gushegu constituencies and will later end day 2 of the tour at the Palace of the Overlord of Dagbon Ya-Na Abukari II.
