Chairman of the Ghana Hajj board Sheikh I.C Quaye and his fellow leading member of the NPP, Alhaji Mohamed Samba are on a colliding cause after the latter, accuse the former of stalling plans to have some Muslim party members in the region from travelling to Mecca for Hajj.

Samba, who kicked Daniel Bugri Naabu from his position as Northern Regional Chairman of the NPP, had a campaign pledge to secure five slots per a constituency for would be pilgrims to Mecca this year, however, fulfilling that promise is what had seems to be brewing enmity between him and IC Quaye.

As it stands now, not even one seat for any of the delegates from the northern region had been secured and Samba who expressed his disgust about the happenings on Diamond fM’s Power Drive, believes the Chairman of the Board had not only supervised over a mess in the organization of the this year’s Hajj, but had also denied him an opportunity to pay for over 200 NPP member that could have made it to Hajj.

However, Chairman of the Ghana Hajj Board, Sheikh I.C QUAYE would not take this from Samba, saying he never received any cheque or cash from the Northern Regional Chairman of the NPP for any prospective pilgrim.
