The Tamale Metropolitan Chief Executive, Iddrisu Musa Superior, has taken to social media site;
facebook to mock his accusers some of who are calling for his to be sacked by President Nana Akuffo Addo.
The Youth Movement for justice and growth a pro NPP Youth group of the Tamale metropolis at a press conference on Thursday 14, March 2019 accused the Mayor of Tamale of selling overpriced contacts to his own party member. They also alleged that the Mayor had rented stores at the aboabo market at exorbitant rates to traders.
However the Mayor responding to these allegations on his facebook page said, he is determined to continue his role as lead officer of the Tamale metro Assembly.
The post read in part: “I am unperturbed by the machinations of FACELESS persons to undermine my work, roles etc..
“I am determined to carry on with my role as the lead officer of the Tamale Metro Assembly in the provision of hope and vision until the President ‘removes’ me from office”.
The Mayor of Tamale said, “This is the office of the Tamale Metropolitan Chief Executive. You have to be extremely patient and tolerant to work in this office. Here, the “executive chair” is a HOT chair”…he added.
Musah Superior is feeling happy.

Despite all the challenges; some genuine, others “invented” associated with this noble office, I am determined to carry on with my role as the lead officer of the Assembly in the provision of hope and vision until the President ‘removes’ me from office.
