Social Media gone AWOL on Alhaji A.B.A Fuseini on ‘derogatory’ comment on president Akufo Addo’s height.

Some social media users have reacted strongly to comments by Member of Parliament (MP) for Sagnarigu constituency, Alhaji A.B.A. Fuseini to the effect that every other thing has gone up except President Akufo-Addo’s height.

In a strongly reaction, some of them(social media users) suspected to be sympathizers of the ruling party NPP, described the Sagnarigu legislature as worse performing MP in the country.

They claimed that, the MP had failed to mitigate the poverty levels of the constituency even when the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) was in power for eight years under which he was a Deputy Northern Regional Minister.

They reminded the MP to consider fixing the developmental challenges in his constituency before making any derogatory remarks against the President.

A.B.A Fuseini speaking at the 7th edition of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Moment of Truth series on Thursday, December 12, lamented the seemingly high cost of living standards under the Akufo-Addo administration with a touch of humour.

According to him, Ghanaians have witnessed unusually high and frequent increments in utility bills, ranging from communication taxes to goods and services.

He said, “to engage in an egregious hikes of 50 per cent tax on top of the fact that, this was the period Ghanaians saw an unprecedented levels of suffering in the history of our country. In fact, everything had gone up. Everything in the country had gone up except the height of the President, and perhaps the height of myself because he is my height mate…”

However his comments did not sit well with some sympathizers of the ruling party in the Northern Region. It has generated social media uproar with series of insults against him.
