Constituency executives of the NPP in the Tamale Central and South constituencies are accusing Tamale metro Chief Executive, Iddrisu Musa Superior of stifling the development the metropolis, in order to advance his political interest elsewhere.
According to the aggrieved party executives, the Mayor has been sinking funds to the Mion constituency were he intends contesting Parliamentary primaries at the expense of Tamale metro.
Addressing a joint press conference, the Tamale south and central constituency executives accused Musa Superior of dubiously awarding contracts to his cronies while neglecting party faithful and executives in the process.
NPP Secretary for Tamale South, Yussif Danjumah, addressed the press conference during which they demanded an immediate dismissal of the MCE by President Akuffo Addo.
The NPP constituency executives, also lamented over Musa Superior’s disregard for party structures and called for urgent steps to be taken by the leadership to tame him.
