Information available to Diamond News indicates that people living in and around Daboya are in fear as armed robbery incidents are on the rise with the most recent one happening on Wednesday.
According to some residents in the area, the armed robbers after successfully robbing the police armory last Sunday attacked Fulani herdsmen at the bush and made away with other weapons and properties belonging to the herdsmen.
Commuters, road users and residents in the area complained that, they are living in fear as the robbery incidents keep rising day-by-day.
It would be recalled that armed robbers last Sunday broke into the police armory room at Daboya Township and made away with weapons.
Meanwhile the public relations officer of the Northern Regional police command speaking to Diamond News said the command is yet to receive a formal notification from the Daboya division of the police service and said they had only heard such reports
