Some traders who have taken advantage of the Hajj to display their wares around the peripheries of the of the Aliu Mahama Sports stadium which is being used as the Hajj Village, are urging city authorities to make help sanitize the environment for conducive business operations.

According to the traders, the rains within the past two days in Tamale have made it difficult for potential buyers to freely move around and buy their stuff in the process.

It would be recalled that some traders from the south of Ghana, were forced to retreat from operating within the parking area of the sports stadium, after a pro-NPP youth group, invaded the facility and demanded non-indigenes make way for their compatriot from the north.

The Aliu Mahama Sports stadium, temporarily been converted into the Hajj village by the Ghana Hajj Board, to facilitate travel processes of prospective Pilgrims to Mecca.
