The Northern Regional Police Command has arrested one Mutala Mohammed a 35 years old for claiming to be a specialist heart surgeon and also succeeded in swindling a lady of twelve thousand Ghana cedis(12,000) under the pretext of securing her a job.
According to the police the victim meet the suspect somewhere in 2018, at the Tamale Teaching Hospital dressed in a white laboratory shirt and introduced himself to the complainant as a medical doctor at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra.
the police also indicated that, in November same year the suspect Mutala Mohammed, allegedly told complainants that he could assist her gain employment at the Ghana Revenue Authority and took twelve thousand Ghana cedis to facilitate the process.
however confirming his arrest to the media,the public Relation of the Northern Regional police command, DSP Yussif Tanko, stated that a search conducting in the suspects room revealed documents such as employment certificate letters, hospital scan reports bearing several names including that of compliment.
