Northern Region Musiga delegates pledge to vote Abena Ruthy as 2nd vice president.

As delegates of Musicians Union of Ghana prepare to go to the polls on the 26th June 2019 to elect executives to manage the affairs of the union, many of the delegates are pledging their support for Abena Ruthy as 2nd vice president because of her impeccable track records and down to earth personality.

As part of her regional campaign tour, she visited the northern regional branches of Musiga including the Tamale branch. The regional executives where excited, gave her a befitting welcome and assure her their vote.

In a brief meeting with delegates, madam RUTH BENNY WOOD aka Abena Ruthy shared her vision, including how she is going to assist the regional branches of Musiga stand on their feet by helping them generating internal revenue to support their activities.

‘ I will use my professional expertise to make Musiga attractive to all musicians in Ghana, I will also bring well-being to all, for the union’s mission of educating and equipping, {the Ghanaian musician to be self-reliant, creative and industrious} achieved’ she added.

Delegates confessed that, they have never encountered a selfless aspirant in their entire role as Musiga delegates and assured her their full support.

Madam Abena Ruthy also donated some items including musical instruments to the branches.

About Abena Ruthy:

Ruth Benny Wood aka Abena Ruthy is the CEO of Incredible Cleaning and Trading, She is also a Senior Partner at Yacaph Micro Credit Services.

She also consults in Marketing, Business Development and Financial Management under her company Platima Advisors.

Abena’s love for voluntary service and humanitarian work led to her founding women of Destiny International to empower women and Diamond Africa Foundation(DAF), an NGO that advocate for a better life for the youth in Africa.

On the creative side she is a song writer and a composer with two albums and four singles to her credit.
