“We observed on last week Friday when we came to visit the chiefs, that in the Palace lots of interactions take place, friends, family, visitors and many other people visit the Palace each day but they didn’t have these hand washing facilities to help curb the spread of COVID-19 so we at NDA took the challenge to ensure the safety of very one coming into the palace”.
He added that, “it is also in accordance with the Presidents’ directive of encouraging hand washing and we also want to use this opportunity to encourage people to follow the precautionary measures by the Ghana Health service, the Health Ministry and the WHO so that we can limit the spread of COVID-19”.
At the Gulkp Naa palace where a short ceremony was held, Gulkp Naa Alhassan thanked the Northern Development Authority for the gesture and their desire to ensure the well-being of persons within their operational area.
